Live Bus Route Tracking

Datalink Systems has been designing AVL and wireless data tracking software since 1996. Our BusLink development provides live status and location reporting of School Bus routes and Regional Transit Bus Services. Meitrack's T633L "black-box" integrated with Datalink's DataGate Host Software processes GPS tracking and other data from each Bus and routed over low cost M2M Cellular Networks.

This can also include Driver RFID I.D. Cards for logging Drivers on and off duty and tracking Students on and off School Buses, ensuring young Students get off at the correct stop.

Gatlinburg, Tennessee was our first client. They needed a system that would update and display the location of each tourist trolley bus and its ETA (estimated time of arrival) at each route stop.

Parents/Guardians and the public can view Bus Route Live Maps and the current location of each Bus with an estimated time to the nex Bus Stop by using their Smartphones or Tablets.

It is imperative that School-Bus Drivers have immediate communication with their Dispatchers in the event of an incdent such as students fighting on-board a Bus or an accident.

BUS-LINK PoC also allows Dispatchers to quickly instruct drivers to take action such as stopping the School Bus and locking the students inside in the event of a shooting incident in or around a School.
